Advertising space in Vecrīga

Vecrīga is a pedestrian district with a visitor audience, and both facts shape what can be bought here. Almost nobody drives through it, so large outdoor formats barely exist; what does exist is at eye level and read while walking — a window, a board by a door, a screen inside a bar or a shop.

Heritage protection limits what may be fixed to a facade in the Old Town, so most placements sit behind glass or inside the venue. That is not a drawback for the campaigns that suit the district: restaurants, tours, exchange, retail and events aimed at people who are already here and deciding where to spend the next hour.

Seasonality is sharper than anywhere else in Riga. Summer and the Christmas market weeks carry several times the footfall of a wet February, and hosts usually price accordingly.
